Formed in 1978, Bakewell Choral Society has around 80 singing members. The choir performs a blend of sacred and secular choral music, together with contemporary pieces (some by local composers), and occcasionally commission new works.
Our Musical Director is Richard Barnes MBE.

The Society continues its long tradition of not holding auditions for new members.
Potential new members are welcome to join us for a rehearsal.
We meet on Monday evening in term time (7:15 to 9:30pm) at Bakewell Methodist Church, Bakewell (click for map)
